Stable ball head on tripods and monopods

This ball head is stable, I use it with 10x50 binoculars, it can handle it without any problems. Tension adjustment could be better, but overall I'm happy with it. I've also tried it with an 80mm doublet telescope and it handles it fine at low magnification. At high magnification (over 100x) the tracking is not smooth enough for me. Overall, it's a nice get-to-go. I would buy this again.

Excellent, well-made ball head at an affordable price.

I am a professional cameraman and photographer. I bought this for an Insta360 Pro 2 VR camera to use on a Manfrotto tripod. The head is well made, rock solid and certainly looks way more expensive than it actually is. I've compared it to other heads that are three times more expensive and this one is just as good. An ARCA quick release plate really speeds up changing camera settings. Highly recommended!

It closes tight. Lots of value for the price.

The ball head arrived today so all these comments are based on first impressions: 1) The product looks solid and has a good fit and finish. 2) The 3/8" base thread is too large. The base of the tripod head is flat and tightens very tightly 3) Pan rotation tightens as tension is applied to the ball Still rotates but not smoothly 4) Ease of use and adjustment are very easy mm on D800 Slight vibration is noticeable.Update: I use this tripod weekly for projects.Panning is sticky and jerky in cold…
