I bought 2 and **both** had the **same** problem - the missing parts renders this item unusable . It's useless junk with no missing parts! Really a pain in the ass. It *also* cost me an extra $60 in handyman fees when the guy came out and I found it useless. Descent.

I ordered 4 of these different sized globes for the house we are renovating. Two out of 4 arrived broken which went unnoticed for over a month because the packaging was perfect. We didn't realize it until we opened the boxes to install them. All it took was an email to Revain customer service and a replacement was shipped the next day! A classic lamp made even better thanks to excellent customer service!

Contrary to what others have experienced, I received this item with all the necessary parts and the whole globe. Although I can see how it can break pretty easily - it's almost like paper! I also noticed some small imperfections in the glass but not worth the hassle of replacing. The installation guide was simple and clear. The cable is twisted for shipping and may not straighten out. Don't despair. Leave it in front of the heat tunnel for about a day to soften it, then straighten it up nicely!
