💡 Progress Lighting P5789-10: Beveled Glass Close-to-Ceiling, 12-Inch Diameter x 7-Inch Height, Brass - Stunning Ceiling Fixture with a Timeless Design Review

Didn't come with bulbs. It is difficult to tighten the nut that holds the glass cover. It is difficult to fix the lamp in the box to the ceiling, two small holes need to go through it, two screws. The only thing about this lamp is that it looks beautiful.

I have 2 of these lights since 2019. I need to replace both. As mentioned in other reviews, I have 1 or 2 outlets that don't work. Too bad I didn't read these reviews before purchasing. Today I bought 2 new lamps, but from a different manufacturer. One last comment. Don't buy this.

Beautiful light, that's all. Lampholders are cheap metal and plastic lampholders that expand and contract with the heat of lightbulbs. This causes the light bulb to dim and not burn. The lightbulbs didn't burn out, just loosened. Poor quality control and testing by the manufacturer. Lamps recommended 25 watts.

The master builder installed the same lamp for me when I was building my house many years ago. The original light had the same problem that many buyers have commented here, where socket outlets went out one after another due to the heat generated by the 25w bulbs. When I ordered this lamp I ordered two because I really liked the way they looked. Once both installed, they lit up my hallway and foyer beautifully. I love the look of this lamp and it looks great in my living room. However, be careful when installing this. The center screw that goes through the octagonal ball is a bit short and as far as I can tell cannot be adjusted to make it longer. I was barely able to screw the end cap onto the bolt holding the globe in place. In fact, I could only turn it half a turn on the screw, so it was very loose.
