Excellent purchase. I have 3 similar products that have.

Excellent purchase. I have 3 similar products that have not made me happy. Too narrow, too difficult to change blades, I can't figure out how to get the best out of them. TIL TODAY. This Madoline slicer is very easy to use thanks to dials to change the thickness and dials to make special cuts such as waffles and julienned potatoes. Easy to clean, easy to use, beautiful and wide. Perfect for foodies! I send all old ones in the trash.

Every time it breaks in the kitchen and dining room

After I bought my third mandolin and the handle on the side fell off, I decided to get a guillotine type mandolin instead to buy. I wish I had bought a different style first. Everyone I know has cut themselves on a progressive mandolin at some point, myself included when someone else was using it and when they put it away they left the blade wide open. I didn't realize it as I reached for the cupboard to get it and cut my finger under my fingernail. The healing took weeks. I think guillotine…

The weakest links ruin the strongest products

This mandolin has all the features you need. Variable thickness, wavy blade, julienne blades in two levels, crossguard and guide. It feels solid and the design is well done. It works wonders for half the price of a professional stainless steel model. But then he falls. Plastic parts, especially side adjustment knobs that allow you to change depth, blades, etc. are fragile. If they break - and they will - it becomes useless. Until then everything is perfect. It's expensive for something you know

A good mandolin is good for mandolin

Beautiful, well-made mandolin. I was particularly interested in the version with wave optics. However, it is quite difficult to use - difficult to push food through. I think it's unfortunately due to the wrinkled shape of the blade. Not the car's fault. A blade shape with a larger surface area causes more friction and therefore makes it harder to push through vegetables. The rest of the functions work great. The stand has a tendency to collapse if you don't put a lot of effort into keeping it…

Worth every penny!: Mandolins

I've never liked being able to chop veggies like I could with this mandolin. I got this to replace a broken, spoiled chef's plane. It's incredibly sharp and stays that way for five years, it's easy to use and the cut is always even. The food protection is large enough for good sized vegetables. It's very easy to switch from Julianne to straight cut and adjust the thickness, and it's also incredibly easy to switch the blade from a straight blade to a wavy blade. It is easy to clean and durable…

Absolutely wrong at Mandolines & Slicers

Stay away from the article! I received a Progressive International PL8 white mandoline slicer as a gift and I really liked it for its ease of use and safety features. My mother was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis; To help her with this new normal I wanted to get one like mine to make things easier for her in the kitchen. For convenience, I bought online from Revain, which I think was the same as mine. It arrived in a damaged bag, but that didn't discredit it - the device looked intact; Of…

No instructions; complex settings; Defective

I was really looking forward to this car because I cut a lot, potatoes, tomatoes, courgettes, whatever. With no instructions (nothing was provided other than a setup brochure) I tried the tomato and it turned out to be a lot. Then I played around with the adjustment knob and slider (yes I pulled the knob out) and tried again with another one and it cut. I found that the knob didn't rotate fully (it didn't reach its maximum thickness). Then I tried to find the user manual on the internet, but to
