These are good slides but 4 out of 10 were pre-damaged. Very disappointing. In short, check them carefully when you first unpack them and make sure they are in good condition. 16" soft-close full extension slides. These Promark guides are a damn good deal. Squareness of structure. But once set up properly, they're GREAT for the money. I built the dresser, built it up which I installed them and ensured squareness by making the drawers 1-1/16" lower to fit the required 1" clearance plus 1/16" play. They seem good. I've only installed one so far. They arrived quite quickly, the packaging is good but no visible damage. The automatic closing mechanism isn't as powerful as the Liberty branded slide I bought, but it works GREAT. I put some oil in the bearings (I think 10W-40) to loosen the slip a bit. I replaced a 30 year old 2/3 slide and the combination of full extension, smooth sliding (with the added lube mentioned above) and smooth self-closing is truly fantastic. The contents of the…
