Don't bother including the screws!

I'm not sure who the design or QC person is that put this package together, but they clearly haven't ever tried actually installing these grills in real world application. The screw heads that are included in the kit are too small and many of them actually go right through the screw holes on the grill rendering them useless. Fortunately for my builds, the case manufacturer included screws in the kit so I was able to use those and finish my builds.Either don't include the screws and knock some…

Pros
  • Using on some fans cooling a open air mining rig. Safer to be around it now.
Cons
  • The grills may trap dust and debris, causing blockages and malfunctions

Works as it should, black color gives it low profile.

Black colored grates are better if you want people to ignore them. Silver ones just stick out. It works, comes with screws. There you go!

Quality fan grilles

These are made of high quality metal and the paint is hard to scratch. Slightly raised to give clearance between the grille and the fan. I saw some cheap ones that are flat and rub again the fan.

Fantastic guards at a great price!

These guards were easy to install and now I never have to worry about accidentally putting a finger into a fan (Which can and does happen quite a bit believe it or not!)

  • Great Price and they appear to be well made. It's a fan guard, not much to say.

Works, But not Out of the Box

I give this a OK raiting because it seems they come bent on one end, so I have to unbend with a set of pliers. Also the paint is a little bit flakey for me. I was hoping for a more durable finish.

The grilles look good and fit properly

Nice that it's metal in a world overrun with plastic garbage. Also nice to not have to pay extra for screws to attach them. Coolerguys is always awesome. I have purchased a number of things from them and I am always satisfied with what they sell me.

so these protectors are doing a great job of keeping all things pets and children out .

I still have my fingers, so I guess they work. Actually, I had to install my water-cooling radiator outside of the older case I'm using, so these protectors are doing a great job of keeping all things pets and children out of my PC.
