Solid helmet for kids, unlike other inexpensive thin-shelled low-durability types.

Very solid helmet similar to better youth and adult helmets. Many kids' helmets use fancy graphics printed on a very thin laminate shell that covers the foam frame. These seem extremely non-durable, with dubious fracture and abrasion resistance. The Lavovagear, on the other hand, sports a solid molded shell with simnpler venting that doesn't compromise function. Only small negative is that the closure clasp isn't kid-friendly, requiring careful hand position and strong fingers to remove. That…

Great helmet!: my feedback

I liked the helmet but it was too big for our 2 year old! He’s in between sizes! Will use when he gets older. Great quality! Thanks for attention!

My girls love them for my opinion

Awesome product. Bought one each for my 5 year old and my 7 year old. After using the adjustable band, they fit each of them perfectly.

Breaks easily in my review

Had this helmet for a few months before the inside attachment came lose and now it won’t tighten around my daughters head properly. She is only two and wore it about 4x before this piece came out.

Great helmet best in my review

We bought it for the kids to use them while on their scooter and bikes. The color is exactly as in the pictures. The dial in the back works perfectly to adjust the helmet. They are lightweight enough that the kids don't mind keeping them on for a longer period of time.

Plastic strap broke quickly.

The helmet fit well. It was worn 2 times for less than an hour each time. When putting on the helmet for the 3rd time, the posterior strap anchor broke away from inside the helmet. Unfortunately, Walmart's return date had just passed and we were unable to return for replacement.

Great product for my opinion

Purchased this for my 2 year old for Christmas. She loves it. Light weight, easily adjustable, appears comfortable and her favorite color.

Pros
  • This looks exactly like the picture. The straps were easy to adjust an it fits our toddler perfectly!
Cons
  • The adjustable straps on the helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards may not secure properly causing them to slip or fall off during play
