🔧 Enhance Performance with Prothane 1-814 Red Greasable Front Shackle Bushing Kit for CJ5, CJ7, and CJ8 Review

These bushings have truly transformed the way my car rides. The handling is much smoother and more responsive, and the overall ride is more comfortable as well. The fact that they're greasable also means that they'll last longer and require less maintenance in the long run. The only downside is that installation can be a bit tricky if you're not familiar with suspension work. Overall, a great purchase for anyone looking to improve their automotive suspension.

Very good kit. I installed them on my CJ7, but shortly after I started having a major death wobble, my tack holes were 1/2" and they were drilled 3/8" so I had a lot of play up front. Didn't work with aftermarket staples.

Quality kit. Unfortunately it didn't fit my '79 Jeep CJ7 with aftermarket shackles as the bolts were only 3 1/2 inches long and I would need to be at least 4 inches long. Additionally, the bolts are 3/8" although this is the standard size, but most aftermarket bolts use 1/2" bolts. Hope that helps!
