After tightening according to Toyota specifications, the bracket was crushed. cheap metal. I order new original stabilizer bushings and install old brackets.

I just installed these bushings and they worked great on my 2004 4runner with 212,000 miles. Much relieved to be driving and to find that CLUNK was gone and just in time for the trip.

I installed it on my 2004 4Runner - easy install; just take out the old one and plug in the new one. The impact wrench really helped loosen 13 year old bolts! The quality is top notch and I have better (flatter) handling now :)

Wow what an easy modification and what an amazing ride quality change. I was having a mysterious "knocking" sound from the front of my 4Runner. Put them face down and everything disappeared. It also helped my cornering stability a lot, my car seems to stay flatter rather than lean through corners.

I bought this kit for my 2008 Toyota 4Runner V8 to replace worn front bushings that were making a very audible "pop" when hitting bumps. After assembly and lubrication, there is no more knocking. Time will tell how long they last, but others say they last a lot longer than OEM.

I used them on my 2007 FJ Cruiser MT. If you get a lot of noise up front but there are no tie rods, this will likely solve your problems. They feel less bulky than standard bushings and you need to make sure the mounts lay flat as they can accidentally install over the welds. They will loosen up after 24 hours unless flat. I also love them and am glad I tried them.
