Prothane 7 1055 BL Spring Shackle Bushing Review

Se montaron en una silverado Z71 año 2002, quedaron bien, el unique problema es que los bujes metalicos son un poco más grandes que los originales, fuera de eso anda bien.

I only give 1 star because I can't leave 0! In my opinion, bullshit, not only didn't fit my Silverado, but all the metal inserts were missing except for 1. Never again!

BOUGHT THESE TO REPLACE BUSHINGS IF MY RUSTY BOXES ONLY ONE WILL BE REPLACED BUT I AM SURE LATER THE OTHER BUSHINGS SHOULD BE REPLACED TOO

Bushings appear to be of good quality. I kept them in the freezer for a little over a week until I had time to swap out the staples/hangers and they could be easily indented with some lube and a large staple. The only downside is that the inner diameter of the metal bushing insert is slightly larger than my shackle bolts, which sometimes causes loud banging. I plan on replacing the leaf springs soon which should come with the OEM bushings already installed

I have 04 Silverado 4wd 1500 and I will explain my bad review. I never installed it but quickly returned it when I was convinced the metal sleeve was not the right size. There are 2 screw sizes for them (total 6 screws/nuts). The larger 24mm (socket size, not diameter) that goes through the leaf springs on both sides at the front (next to the gas tank on one side). The remaining 4 21mm screws go through the brackets (one through the sheet and one to the body closer to the end of the bed, but…
