Looks like Wix or Motorcraft in a K&N box. We will see how we weigh it and others will see if there are more wrinkles in the filter.

This is absolutely a Motorcraft FL2016 filter in a K&N box. This is a great filter and the price is the same or better than other suppliers for a Motorcraft filter, at least last year. Works well in my power punch.

Fits perfectly on my 2010 F350 6.4 Powerstroke. Looks the same as the Motorcraft FL2016 but at a much better price. The color wasn't red like the photo, it was the same gold as the Motorcraft filter, which doesn't really matter.

This is a great filter. I have used them twice already and with oil samples they are as good as OEM and cheaper with the same great protection. They are exactly the same in color and design. I would be shocked if it wasn't the same filters in a different box. I will buy them instead of OEM until the oil sample shows otherwise. I have also used fuel filters with excellent results. You can get both from k&n for the price of an original fuel filter kit.

K&N PS-7009 Pro Series Oil Filter I have mixed feelings about this filter. Most forums say this will unduly restrict oil flow. I trust K&N and have used their products for many years and have never had any problems. Hence the mixed feelings. I haven't encountered any oil pressure issues when using this filter, but I know there will be no issues after one use. I probably won't use it again, but I'll definitely stick with the air filters.
