🚪 Pacific Giftware Gargoyle Cat Door Knocker Review

I am so happy with this purchase! It really brightens up my plain front door. It's stronger than I thought it would be and I easily got it to the door.

Looks good on the gate, also works as a pull. Edit: We removed this to colorize the gate. When putting it back on, it broke in half due to the torque of the screw. Cheap resin. I do not understand it.

The face looked cute except for the shiny tacky glue holding the jaw in place. Terrible craftsmanship gluing the jaw to this cat's head. I will never buy this or that company again. He deserves zero stars.

Super cool look but. it cracked when we hung it on our door. Luckily we can still use it. My other complaint is that the door knocker bangs on the door every time it opens or closes (the ring/ball isn't heavy enough not to knock).

Wonderful spooky addition to my door, very satisfied. Comes with hardware to screw into a wooden door only. If you want to go through something like a metal door (I do) you'll have to go to a hardware store. In general very satisfied. fast shipping, will buy again from this seller.

Very nice door knocker. I've seen a few posts about quality, missing mounting holes, and breakage during installation. I need the drill to go over the existing holes so the screws can go through without damaging the hammer. Simple solution. I used the existing screws and painted them to match the color. I think it was a great product, especially for the price!

The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is the workmanship of the supplied mounting material. It's just 2 zinc plated bolts that contrast sharply with the real hammer's finish. I bought a couple of similar sized screws at a local hardware store with an oiled bronze finish and painted the tips with a black marker. Not perfect, but a lot less noticeable. If you were good at crafting/model painting you could probably get the supplied screws pretty well, but I didn't want to waste that much time.
