Powerful but too LOUD (not quiet as advertised)

As advertised, this little 24w pump produces 300 gallons per hour. It offers over 15 feet of head with 1/2" PVC. Absolutely no problem using the speed controller with this pump. HOWEVER this pump is NOT quiet as advertised. After several days of work it had to be pulled due to noise. This was the loudest Pump of my 5 pumps Please keep this in mind when purchasing I will be buying a few more of these as they are workhorses and an absolute bargain for the price Ideal for mixing salt and quickly…

NOISY. not quiet at all.

This is a 24V DC pump. It has lots of head, pushes water much harder than an AC pump, is twice the size, but it's LOUD. The pump will vibrate and make a loud audible buzz. This pump is honestly louder than my protein skimmer which prompted me to put it aside for another project. Look for a Jebao DC pump instead, although it'll probably cost you twice as much, but it's worth it. Pump (Jebao). quiet and high performance. The cable is too short. The PSU died after 1 month.

This pump has an excellent flow rate for our small fountain (video attached). The 24v power cord is fairly short for an outdoor cord which defeats the purpose of safe low voltage as I need to run an extension cord near the well. Maybe I can find an extension cord for the low voltage wire. The power adapter gets very hot. Some report it's loud, but I can't hear anything above the murmur of the waterfall, but then the pump is about a foot underwater in the ground, so the sound doesn't propagate…

Tough little pump for fish and aquatic animals

I bought several of these pumps for various well projects we had around the house to keep busy during the pandemic. For a sub $30 DC pump, these were great little workhorses. Once we start the wells they will work 10-16 hours a day, 7 days a week. One has been running like this since September and had no problems. Another one from December.
