Do not buy this part!

Installed by my mechanic in 5 minutes and has stopped working. The impeller turned the shaft VERY POOR PRODUCTION -5 stars. Stay away from this product.

Pros

Cons
  • Nothing Here

Not worth the time and money

The pump installed, was fine for about a month. The boat has been used 4 times I took it off last weekend and it overheated. I disassembled the sea water pump and found a broken impeller. These things should last a year before needing replacement, not a month.

Pros
  • Water pump
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Good and bad. on water pumps

First, these pumps are very inexpensive. They are much smaller than the stock pump. For the most part they work fine. CURRENTLY! You have to watch them. They tend to spin the impeller in the casing. This way they look like they are walking from the front but not pumping water. I also had a thrown camp up front. At the same time, they immediately send a replacement, and I learned to take an extra one on board. Sometimes you have to adapt! Will keep using them.

Pros
  • engine cooling and air conditioning
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
