Don't stick with not unhooking to hold the front, spoke to customer service about no openings on the front, they said that's the case with old models with holes. Talking to the dealer they said they changed again thanks customer out of order 😝

If you install according to the instructions, it doesn't work. The screws attaching the front of the grip plate to the kingpin sliding plate must be turned in the opposite direction as specified in the assembly instructions to keep the front of the plate upright. The nut must be tightened on the inside wall of the gripper plate, NOT the outside.

Poorly designed by the manufacturer. There were no mounting holes in the grip panel and the hardware required for installation was not provided by the manufacturer. Installation took ten times longer than if the manufacturer had done their job and made no compromises.
