Description of 🔧 JoyTube 35-Piece Thread Repair Kit: Stainless M6 x 1mm Inserts for Auto Repairing - Compatible Hand Tool Set

【Drilling】Clear the damaged threads with a standard drill. Please pay attention that for fluteless taps bigger holes are required. 【Checking】Check that the thread and pitch of the tap and the bolt match. 【Tapping】Use the special taps for cutting the holding thread into the cleared hole (recommended to use a suitable cutting oil). 【Install】Place insert on installation tool and position the adjustable ring so that the insert tang is centered in the tang slot. Wind the insert in with a light downward pressure until a half turn below the surface. Never work against the thread direction as the tang could break. 【Ideal Tool】M6 x 1mm Thread Repair Insert Kit is ideal for restoring damaged threads, stripped internal threads and creates a stronger internal thread in soft metals.

Coil installed in cylinder head

Installing a coil in the cylinder head of my outboard motor was successful. The first coil hung and broke at minimal torque, but the second worked fine. Good that the drill is there.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Basically everything is fine, but...

Good value for money - tools and equipment

I was hesitant to buy this as it is clearly a cheap Chinese product but at half the price of a well known brand I decided to give it a try. The tools aren't that premium, but the inserts themselves are on par and they did the job.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Quality

Very easy to use. suitable for tools and equipment

Very suitable for repairing the tailgate on my Ford Ranger. In any case, it no longer thunders from there. Be sure to use a fixative when repairing thin metal. You will need a pen to cut the hole again but luckily I had one.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Easy to repair

Wow! Works perfectly! in Tools and Equipment

Wow, wow, wow! Where has it been all my life! Didn't think it would work that well but holy moly! My issue was resolved and I am now looking for other remote threads to fix it! Damned! Just take your time so you don't mess anything up! No pun lol

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • Little things

Threader and bobbins are ok!

Unfortunately 2 stars because the insertion tool held up twice. As the name suggests, everything worked out great. The new threads seem stronger than ever. However, the rest of the kit has become unusable when I can't fit more coils (see picture).

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Working speed

Great value for money

Wallet Great buy if you don't have a faucet and die set you need a T handle for the faucet or like I used for the valve cap I have a small one Socket uses wrenches in the box, just make sure you enter straight and easy. Good buy, if I need this size again I will definitely order it.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons

An absolute must for do-it-yourselfers!

Easy to use, arrived quickly, good price, great guide and solution to my problem (caused by the workshop). Body shops using power wrenches are notorious for failing to correctly install cross-threaded bolts before torque is applied, resulting in clogged threads, particularly when working with aluminum threads e.g. B. at an engine head, are screwed to the engine covers. Repair took 5 minutes and now I'm happy again! Highly recommended. Thank you Revan!
