This brush is perfect for trimming ceiling edges. Holds comfortably, does not crumble and gives clear lines. I would say it's the perfect size for edging. I mean it's a brush.

The bristles keep falling out when painting. They stick to wet wall paint. Never had this problem. Concerned that this brush might be an imitation.

I haven't used the exact brush I ordered from Revain but I know from past experience that Purdy brushes are simply the best in their class are. must have if you are trying to paint any material with any type of paint

As a house painter, I was introduced to these wonderful tools decades ago. He only used Purdy and suggested I buy myself and take care of her. I bought a lot and I still have them 30 years later. They are durable and unbeatable fun to paint with.

Several people have advised me to spend more money to get good brushes. If you take care of them, they last a long time and are much better than the cheap ones. This is a great brush that holds a lot of paint and so far the paint job is looking good. I have a roller brush cleaner and it looks like it has never been used. I'm glad I spent the few extra dollars and I'm sure it will save me money over time.

I am a general contractor formerly a painting company. I have hundreds of Purdy brushes. Now I have about 25. The pens are excellent. In any case, the bristles are great on most models. The downside to these brushes, however, is the same one they've suffered from for decades: small sticks are used to attach the handle to the brush's metal tip. EDIT: After about 5 years of history with Purdy, please allow a few more comments: Now I only buy Purdy. No more lower level brushes for "rough stuff" unless I'm painting the barn as fast as I can without paying attention to the texture. Purdy has upped my painting standards, and now that I feel the need for a new brush (which doesn't happen that often, by the way, despite having so many wooden surfaces inside and out that I paint all the time).
