Great speaker drivers

I'm by no means an audio expert, but these speakers seem to have all the power and bass needed for a typical front left and surround right listening experience. They are very crisp and my base crossover is set to 100MHz. Good price and very well packaged. It arrived on time as promised.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • It's OK

Good speaker, good price.

I got these speakers when I got my new 7.2 channel surround receiver. Not as good as the Definity Technology speakers I fitted them with, but they match well both acoustically and visually. I like the Onkyo TX 616 receiver so the power supply works fine. Very happy with my audio system, the speakers work very well!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some little things

Excellent speakers at a good price

Excellent speakers at a good price. I needed some small speakers to put on my stereo's bookshelves. They are perfect for a small apartment. With 150 watts RMS, I can turn them on without worrying about them frying. You won't get the booming bass from a 12" woofer, but for their size I think they have a pretty good overall sound. They also have connections on the back which give them a nice full sound.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Great looks. Sound Quality "Fur "

These speakers look very nice, especially with the grilles removed. They also appear to be well built. These boxes are heavy! However, the sound quality is much worse than expected. The mids and highs are weak and the poor vocal performance is the biggest disappointment. The bass is good, quite tight, without booming muddyness. You won't get bored listening to them, and if you just want a nice pair of surround speakers, they'll get the job done. I first tested them on my desktop in a 2.0…

Great sound great price

Bought these speakers for 2 front channels and 2 surround back speakers in my home theater. Added clean Supernova speakers with center channel, Formula F12 subwoofer and Yamaha receiver. The combination is absolutely amazing. Producing crisp, clear sound at high volumes, these speakers sound amazing. Trust me, I put them to the test. Music and Blu-ray movies sound absolutely flawless. I've heard much more expensive speakers that don't sound as good as these. Everyone who has come to my house…

Pros
  • Great workmanship
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Not impressed at all.

There seems to be some confusion as to the actual impedance of these speakers. There is conflicting information as to whether it is 8 ohms or 4 ohms. But according to my measurements and direct comparisons with the Pioneer BS22 and Infinity Primus p153, the Supernova S does not draw more power from the amplifier. So I am assuming they are nominally 8 ohms. As I listened to them, I immediately noticed a midrange output that gave each voice a tunnel quality. There's also a significant increase in
