Not so great. in replacement water filter under the sink

if I remember correctly this hasn't worked as it should for a very long time. I ended up incorporating an electronic solenoid into the system. Problem solved.

Pros
  • looking forward to
Cons
  • safety

Don't worry about filters and water softeners

Don't waste your money. Sending back the first one because it didn't work and now the second one has conveniently failed 2 months past the return window. Now my reverse osmosis system is losing water faster than ever.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great alternative!

One day there was almost no pressure in my reverse osmosis system. I checked the internet and found that it was a defective valve. The tank was completely filled with water. I was a little worried this wouldn't work on my Watts Premier reverse osmosis system but it worked great and was a great price compared to Watts. So far no problems!

Pros
  • As far as I'm satisfied

The RO filter is working again.

Mixed feelings, because that solved the problem with the constant flow of waste water. However, one of the four connections was leaking. I ended up wrapping this connector with teflon tape and then flex tape to stop the leak. hope it lasts I'm glad my reverse osmosis filter is working again as I hate buying bottled water. I have a filter pan in case my "fix" fails.

Works as described - replacement water filter under the sink

Works as described. I have a Digiten gauge on my 4 gallon tank. At a pressure of 55 psi / 0.37 MPa, the effluent stopped. After the faucet was started to relieve the pressure, the effluent was resumed at 35 psi / 0.24 MPa. I have an iSpring 5 filtration system. In the picture, the red is from the tap water to the reverse osmosis system and the white is from the filter line to the make-up faucet in my sink.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Piggy bank Price

This valve did not work at all

I bought this valve to replace a 3 year old valve that still worked. I didn't want it to fail so I replaced it. This new valve did not work at all. It should shut off the flow when the tank pressure is about 2/3 or more of the inlet pressure. This valve did not close at all. BEWARE! He would have poured water down the drain forever. I put the old valve back in and it works perfectly. If you buy one of these you need to make sure it turns off. i will return it

Pros
  • Tools & Housewares
Cons
  • Available in black only

When my reverse osmosis tank was getting a little old I bought another one to replace it. It had trouble holding pressure and the leak was confirmed when I let some water out of the air pressure valve. So I patiently awaited the arrival of a new one - but despite the great reviews and seemingly great quality tank, it didn't seem to fill up regularly. WHAT? It would fill up once or twice and then stop. I checked the pressure - everything is normal. I emptied it and pressed it again to be on the…

Fixes a hard-to-diagnose ROS issue.

Worked great, solved my problem. My current ROS system is about 8 years old and I live alone so I don't use it much. The symptoms I got indicated that my bladder had gone bad. I replaced the tank, got 1 good tank and then nothing. I know this and have watched a lot of YouTube videos but the problem I was having was not clearly diagnosed. Here's my two cents: Your system seems to be stuck somewhere. Have you replaced the tank or are you thinking about it? To diagnose a problem with an automatic…
