We used this to clean my grandchildren's iPads. The repair mania would charge us over $100 to fix the port. That fixed it quickly!

Overall a good concept. Unfortunately the tip from step # is already bent the first time you use it and is in danger of snapping and breaking. Would appreciate a replacement and think this needs to be addressed.

I have a hard time buying gifts for the boys in my life (dad/husband/brothers. I saw this and thought it would be a great gift. BUT I was skeptical so I bought one to try first. It really works! I keep my phone clean and was amazed that the tool still pulls things out of the connector. I've attached pictures and definitely recommend it.

When in doubt, JUST DO IT. Sure, it's a premium price, but you get what you paid for. I have a dozen cables and lighting accessories/adapters and this did the job. Not only are the inconsistent charging headaches gone, my HDMI adapter is now working perfectly (I still have a habit of being very careful with it and I need to remind myself that it works great and I don't have to constantly fiddle with it what for a living bomb!) I took my phone on vacation and only had a charging cable with me - I usually rely on wireless charging pads but didn't take it with me.
