This filter does not significantly improve the water quality.

Noticing that the filtered water didn't taste very good, I tried the water from my new filter. It was 167 ppm. The tap water here is 181 ppm straight from the tap. While Pureup does clean the water a bit, it doesn't even come close to the 50 ppm expected from a carbon filter. To make sure my water tester wasn't to blame, I tested the water from my Zero Filtration System (also fitted with a compatible filter) which showed a concentration of 3ppm. my conclusion? Pureup filters do not reach the…

This is the no-soak filter

As I spend about 5 gallons a day on my cats and also on container plants I needed a cheaper Brita filter option. I have 2 HUGE water containers so I use a lot of water. I don't like the filter type that has to soak for 15 minutes. These filters only need to be flushed with water under the tap for 15 seconds. I encourage people to buy as many filters as you can afford as they will run out as people prepare for emergencies. I will definitely order more of this variety.

I opened the first filter and installed it with no problems. After two months it was time to change the filter and every filter was infested with insects. I'm confused how these bugs got into the sealed bag but they are clearly there. I'm disappointed. I don't know where these filters are made, but I'm wondering what other…

Do not do that! Just buy a Brita filter!

Do yourself a favour. Spend a little more and get Brita filters! They do not filter ultrafine particles. My dog doesn't even touch the water after filtering with them. I have well water and needed something to filter my drinking water until I installed a whole house filter. I bought a Krug Brita and 2 orders for it because I thought "What's the difference?" I learned very quickly that you pay three times cheaper. The included Brita filter works perfectly. Once it got too clogged to work…
