This filter is a little long. I couldn't install the filter properly without damaging the lower airbox, making it impossible to access the top cap. I had to cut the filter neck gasket about 3/16" to bring the assembly together. As of now, I'll be sticking with OEM filters.

just doesn't fit! It's too long to fit in the airbox on my 2014 Focus ST. When I put it in and compared to the old filter it was about 1/4 inch too long but I thought it might still work. It just doesn't exist. I could return it but honestly it's not worth my time so I'll just throw it away and buy another one from a Ford dealer. I bet it will fit!

Although Revain and Purolator claim this filter will fit the Focus RS, it does not. It's too long and won't fit in the airbox. Could I push him hard enough to get in? Probably no. But even if I could, why? Do it right! I also measured the wrinkles compared to the stock engine. The folds at the drain are 1.2 inches deep; Purolator pleats are 0.7 inch deep. Smaller filter area. Smaller airflow area. It's just not worth it. As a joke, I asked about a Wix filter as part of a reverse exchange. Let's
