Not for Focus RS 2017
Although Revain and Purolator claim this filter will fit the Focus RS, it does not. It's too long and won't fit in the airbox. Could I push him hard enough to get in? Probably no. But even if I could, why? Do it right! I also measured the wrinkles compared to the stock engine. The folds at the drain are 1.2 inches deep; Purolator pleats are 0.7 inch deep. Smaller filter area. Smaller airflow area. It's just not worth it. As a joke, I asked about a Wix filter as part of a reverse exchange. Let's see how it goes.
