Very lightweight case. I expect it will crack in the Florida sun within a year as I will be using it all the time. Although I was initially a bit disappointed, I think the lightweight material allows it to breathe better while keeping condensation under the lid, which is important in Florida's subtropical environment. This cover is way better than I expected. I recently decided to take my awesome $3,000 Specialized road bike outside of my bedroom. Oops. I'm glad I didn't spend a lot of money on this cover. Light rain for about 1 hour and the bike could just about have been covered with a cotton towel. The bike got wet! I think it's better than direct rain, but not by much. After the rain, the cover in the grommet area for the lock cable was torn in the wind.
