These are great--completely sturdy and stable

I weigh 190 lbs. and when do pushups with these (which I do twice a week, every week) I'm wearing a 50 lb. weighted vest. Even with the vest they feel totally sturdy and I have absolutely no worries that they're going to crack or flip over or be in any way unstable. I would say don't worry at all about their strength or durability.I also love the fact that they're angled--I've been having some wrist issues and this takes a lot of stress off of my wrists.Overall, a great little workout tool and…

Simple to use needs more cushion

They were easy to assemble and very sturdy. Only thing is the cushion is not as thick as one would wants and your hands feel sore from it. Other than that it works great and make sure you have them facing the same way. One side is higher than the other.

Good grip. Stable Base. Angled handle.

I didn't expect there to be an angle to the handle. one side is longer than the other. As such, it is not as flat so you can't really do calisthenics on it, but it is actually very good for pushups. I can go a lot deeper with the descend.

Plastic push up bars

Over priced for plastic but they feel sturdy and work just fine. They do have an angle to them for somewhat better ergonomics to keep your wrists straight.

False advertising in my review

Product description states that these grips are made of "steel" product is "plastic". False advertising.As far as what they are they seem good, but idk how sturdy they actually are.

Can't use on a hard, flat surface

They did their job. But after a couple uses they would always slip if I used them over cement or tile. They are too round in shape and those end caps always want to pop off. Eventually they slipped twice during a hard workout and I almost hurt myself, so I just chucked them into the ground with murderous intent. You're better off using dumbbells as pushup handles.

Inverted grip. Different than expected

It’s not a terrible product and is easy to get going right out of the box. My only gripe is that the pieces are inverted and kind of slant one direction. It’s not totally parallel with the ground. It’s a different kind of push up but still effective

Metal vs Plastic good for me

Most of these style push up bars work the same. It really doesn't matter what brand of this style you get. it really comes down to how much you want to spend. I find these to be just fine. I am 6'2 and 245lbs. I do roughly 200-300 push ups everyday (rest Sunday). These make push ups much harder so don't expect to do the same amount your use to doing. Most people use a flat hand when they do pushups - these force you to make a fist.

Overall I don't like to do push ups but using these bars has made it easier. They are so light the at first I was moving them while getting my form right to do push ups. Don't know if they should be that light.

Strong and sturdy pushup bars

Solid build, doesnt hurt hands during long sets. I use these on hardwood floors and they dont slip unless i use really bad form and even then they only move a small amount. Can really feel a difference when doing pushups. Really helps eleviate wrist pain when doing long sets. Also really like the ability to move these into different positions to work different muscle areas.

Strong, ergonomic way increase range of motion

Two things made me nervous about this product at first, but all ended well. First, I thought they were going to be metal, but the plastic ended up being okay because they are cast as thicker gauge material. Also, this makes them light which is good because I travel with them anyways. Second, I wasn't expecting the camber or angle, but this makes it more ergonomic for conventional pushups and for handstand pushups (what I will be primarily using these for) they at lease don't get in the way.
