Big fan of these LED blocks. While not DOT approved, they work much better than many other brands. I am very happy with them within the time that I have installed them. Heat isn't an issue yet and the light output is much cleaner than a standard incandescent bulb. The four stars do not refer to the performance, but to the value. This basically means that the floor is on one side of the outlet. If you paste this and it doesn't work, try rotating it 180 degrees first. The units I received are slightly different from the photo but work very well. In the photo they appear to be metal but they are not. Definitely plastic. They're also pretty light, so they're not likely to fall out of the nest when your car bounces on the road. I've had them in my car for a few months now and both bulbs are still 100% charged.
