Best on snow and ice

This winter I decided to leave my car outside. I wear this cover when I know it's going to snow (not ice). It covers the windshield and front windows well, but when the windshield is wet, the water freezes and the coating sticks to the car. In this case, removing it is not easy and eventually a hole appears in the lid since it is thinner than expected. If it was iced over the top of the lid (it happened once) and it was VERY hard to remove. The lower silvery surface is chipped in several places

DOES NOT FIT AS PHOTO SHOWS

IS NOT ASSEMBLED AT ALL! One of the cars shown in the advertised photos is a similar size to mine and mine is a Dodge Dart. It has so much sag that when it's windy and it's snowing I still get snow on the windshield, defeating the purpose of this cover. The elastic straps are so thin that I feel like if I pull them tight enough to fit like the pictures they will break. And yes, I'm wearing it right. I tried flipping it and it didn't fit at all. I read many YouTube reviews and chose this one. I was very pleased with the ease of understanding. I bought two of these. The snow fell 2 days after I bought them. I put it on the night before it snowed and intentionally left out the second one I bought for another car just to see how closed works.
