This winter I decided to leave my car outside. I wear this cover when I know it's going to snow (not ice). It covers the windshield and front windows well, but when the windshield is wet, the water freezes and the coating sticks to the car. In this case, removing it is not easy and eventually a hole appears in the lid since it is thinner than expected. If it was iced over the top of the lid (it happened once) and it was VERY hard to remove. The lower silvery surface is chipped in several places (mainly in the area of the side mirror). It's easy to use - it only takes a minute to put on. The rubber bands are flimsy but do the job. This cover will help me get through this winter but I will be looking for a stronger and thicker cover next year.
