Not for use in a car.: Car and vehicle electronics

They are loud and not intended for use in cars. I ended up adding them to my home theater system. Better for large open spaces.

Great little horn on cars and car electronics

This horn rocks! I wanted to replace the anemic factory tweeter in my SWR combo bass amp so I bought this guy. It's significantly larger and much heavier than the average 1" piezo tweeter, so I had some mounting issues. This horn has a high SPL and I get about 3dB more power to my ears and it's very clean. Due to the narrow neck I was worried that the coverage angle would be too narrow, but it sounds good. Very clean. So for a new build or to get more highs from an existing system I would…

Pyle PDBT35 1-Inch Experience

I ordered and installed 1 unit in the middle of my dual 15" mid-high drivers to produce more highs at ear level when these speakers are mounted on subwoofers. I was amazed at the improvement in sound quality and the volume seemed to increase dramatically! On the second night of use, both tweeters failed at less than 500 watts. Realistically less than 400 watts. I think the charge capacity is overrated, but using the included capacitors and compressor helps extend life, so I've ordered two more…

Crazy Tweeter: Car Audio

One of the two tweeters I received was defective. They are very loud and I need to figure out how to soften them to match the rest of my speakers. Probably buy an L-Pad or Xover with a built in tweeter damper. I'm pretty sure the sensitivity rating is 108dB. My EQ only clips -6dB, which isn't enough to keep up with my 95dB effective mids. Although they sound good. I put these bad boys in the car. One thing I don't like is the ability to short the speaker wire to the speaker enclosure. The…
