Great for the price

Installation on my '94 Land Cruiser was easy, basically plug and play with the right seat belt and I wanted to keep some of the factory look. It's surprising how many reviewers swear by this device. For the price it does what it should. I haven't had the issues described in other reviews, but navigating the display can be cumbersome. If you want $800 functionality from a $50 main unit, look elsewhere. If you want $50 functionality, go for it. I was not disappointed. However, products have to be

Cheap, easy to use, but pretty bright.

This stereo isn't going to blow the world up. It works pretty well, but there are a few downsides. Here is a list of pros and cons. Advantages: - Clear sound with Bluetooth - Strong FM reception - Large control buttons - Easy cabling with minimal installation depth. - Pairs easily with most any Bluetooth device - USB playback is great if you're using a quality USB device MediaCons: - Display brightness is not adjustable - Permanent selection indicators on each side of center displayโ€ฆ

Get another stereo

I really wanted to like this stereo. It seemed like a no-frills option for getting Bluetooth functionality in my car. I was disappointed with the server for the following reasons: - When listening to stereo, the time is not displayed. Instead, you get big text that says PHONE or AUX. Thanks Stereo, I really need to know that. - Enormous volume increase for incoming calls. Be prepared for your eardrums to explode every time you call or call. Some calls get stuck in the "curse". Sometimes whenโ€ฆ

The determination not to fail is why it works.

I read a lot of reviews before I bought it and the main reason was people said it was a double noise and it fits great and it's easy to fit even in older cars. It's more like a 1 1/2 din because it left an inch of space that I surrounded with the styrofoam it was packaged in. I had to look up my car's wiring diagram to connect the new connector. It wasn't easy as there were so many more cables to my old stereo. It was only after trial and error that I succeeded. I downloaded the songs to aโ€ฆ

A bunch of crap computers and accessories

Overall I'd say it's good value for money, but not without a number of annoying flaws. What annoys me the most is that it loses its settings every now and then. After I connect my phone via bluetooth to play music or get directions and turn off the car, it doesn't stay in bluetooth/phone mode. Instead, it switches to FM radio, which means I get loud hissing when I turn the car back on until I pair it with the phone again. It should remember the last setting (phone mode) and try to reconnectโ€ฆ

Excellent regular replacement head unit

Excellent regular replacement head unit. Installed on a Mitsubishi Outlander 2006. Still with standard speakers and the sound quality is of course pretty good, not professional. make calls and listen to music from your phone without the hassle of an extra cable. Connecting to Bluetooth is a headache at first, but use the user guide to see all the options. The supplied remote control does not need to be used. Once you connect to this device, the next time you turn on Bluetooth on your phone, the
