Not like the photo

A strong universal mount, but it doesn't look very pretty. The hinge is bright and oversized, and the hardware is plated in shiny nickel for you to see. It's possible to run a wire through the mount, which would be useful to know but can't be determined from imprecise images. I bought something else to deal with the cables, which it turns out I don't need now. I would have gone for something else if the product looked like this in the photo.

Sturdy - needs a few adjustments

Pros: The product looks solid and is well made. I also like that I can route my cable through the stand to hide it. Cons: If you have a black product, all accessories must be the same color. I don't want to see silver hardware on an all black piece. For aesthetic reasons I have to replace all the hardware. This is a big blunder. Other Thoughts: The inner strut has some clearance between it and the outer strut. I wish there was a plastic ring/grommet between them to eliminate any possibility of…

Very adaptable to the speakers

I used 2 pairs to mount 4 (2 front, 2 rear) Klipsch R-51M speakers on my cinema ceiling. The design is very flexible and I ended up installing them at the bottom of the speaker to be closer to the ceiling. However, if you need them deeper, they can be mounted differently and even further away with an extension cable. You can thread the wire through the hollow tube from the ceiling and through one of the holes on the sides. It was easily able to hold the 11 pound speakers I have and seems like…

Reliable fastening solution.

Robust, flexible solution for mounting ceiling speakers. I would suggest providing an installation template online so you can find out what the dimensions are and where the holes are so a person can easily tell if it will fit them. Second, change the mounting holes on the flat board. For example, the middle set of holes measures 4 1/8 inches on center. If you change them to 100mm you can easily mount speakers like the KEF Q50A which have keyhole mounting slots 0.100mm apart. Measurement in home

Wall bracket The base plate is square, not round - the old switch.

I agree with others this item gets a switch. They don't pay attention to the details of this delivery. The wall/ceiling mounting side is square, not round. I wanted round but I'm going to paint my living room so it doesn't matter in the end. Be careful, there is no quality control here. There is no mount that suits me. I use my own. The hole pattern doesn't match my hanging hole pattern in my area. There's a very good chance you'll need to get something else if you need a no-drill solution. I…

Working, needs some modifications

Mine has a square top plate with two sets of holes (I used the smaller inner holes). They feel solid (rated for speakers up to 75 pounds) and cost $25 a pair and are great value. All mounting hardware was chrome/nickel plated, not black. In my application it's invisible, so I can live with that; Otherwise stick a piece of black electrical tape on the device, use a black marker or paint. There are no fasteners to attach the stand to the wall or pillar; I wasn't expecting as both depend on your…

NOT what is pictured but BETTER adjustability

See review (Ahmed Sheikh on 07 Jan 2020) It has a picture of what I received, SQUARE BASE and the corner piece has a different one Design. Product photos while other reviews show a ROUND base as seen in the product photos. Also note that not all reviews with pictures appear in the GALLERY. The corner piece on this one has a wider range of adjustment than pictured (it has 3 holes). This has 7 holes and allows the mount to move from side to side. In other words, the speaker can be vertically flat

Does the job, requires some modifications

Mine has a square top plate with two sets of holes (I used the smaller inner holes). He seems to be durable. (rated for speakers up to 75 pounds) and costs $25 per pair. It is not expensive. The mounting hardware was all chrome/nickel plated, not black.
