This extension works great. I no longer have to put my whole hand in the tank. Keeping hands and arms away from the aquarium is much safer for the water quality as sometimes you have lotion or something else that you shouldn't get in the water and forget. Connects very easily. No leaks.

I'm really looking forward to using this gravel cleaner but I can't get the hose all the way onto the pipe. I really don't understand why they couldn't do it for us at the factory like they sell you the whole system. I was concerned about using some stuff to put more in there because I don't want to have contamination problems in the future. I'll continue my review once I've got my tank up and running.

And my fish are grateful to you because they get great fresh water and when you get some air in the suction cup it makes big bubbles, now I love bombing my aquarium, it looks very neat and the fish seem to like it. bubbles burst! Had to purchase for my 50 gallon Seaclear acrylic tank as it is very tall. While I really like the Python gravel vacuum, there are two issues I don't like. The suction (despite the very strong water pressure at the end of the tap) is slow. It picks up dirt quickly, but tends to hang up a few inches and takes ages to climb up the pipe.
