QCAA Solid Butler Folding Taiwan Review

Purchased to replace the worn out hardware of a used desk my wife bought through Facebook. The measurements were accurate. They fit as planned and are solid with just the right amount of stiffness at the joints. We are very happy with this purchase.

Real hinges work great. I replaced the same hinges on the desk drawer. However, the supplied screws are of poor quality. Several of the supplied screws broke off right at the head when tightening. Exchanged for original screws without any problems.

I bought this hinge to replace the broken hinge on my table. Luckily I kept the screws from the previous hinge because those screws were very small and very easy to remove. So I'm hoping the hinge isn't a mirror image of the screws, but we'll see.

No, not an exact match. The front of the drawer is about 1/8 inch from the bottom of the drawer, side latch will not engage. Third time ordering replacement hinges for the drawer front on this 12 year old desk. Hooker's first 2 times don't match exactly either, even Hooker's. Now Hooker is "out of stock", they send me a list of Revain links. Hooker furniture is such rubbish. I'm sure their stuff could have been good before all construction was outsourced to China. I recently made some changes to my desk/wall unit. Somehow the keyboard drawer hinges are broken. I can't believe I managed to find the exact same loop. Same size, same finish, same thickness, same screw hole pattern. And delivered in 3 days. Absolutely unbelievable. I would never have found anything like it at Home Depot.
