Worked well on my dump truck

I have switched on and off, you must use two diodes to use this product, very easy installation. about 25 bucks you have a remote dump

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Compatibility

Used on my tipper trailer

Works fine installed on my tipper trailer. The buttons on the remote are a little weak, but the power button is a handy feature to prevent accidental activation. It's better than I expected in this price range. Installation was easy.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

You get what you pay for

Easy enough to install once you know a little how winches work. FYI the cables must not carry motor current. Only one remote works, the second lights up but does nothing else. Not the strongest device, feels like it won't survive a fall.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Poorly designed

The remote control works best in a winch. Accessories

So far, so good. I've had it installed for about a month now. I've only used it twice so far, but everything works as it should. I ordered a different brand remote first and it didn't work...when I tried to test the "output" the contractor hung until I could disconnect the battery (the rat plugged in the whole wire) ... I was dissatisfied.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are negatives

Works best with remote control systems as expected

Bought this to use with my tipping trailer, installation was fairly easy and both controls work well, not sure about range. I will update if anything changes. Edited 3/12/21 It has good range, I tried it from about 50ft away and it worked very well. Just remember that this is a winch device so you don't have to fall that far.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Null

Had to go back but looked good.

Buy this model if you are looking for this model. As you know, there are several identical to this one. They are all the same. I bought in November 2019 and this was the cheapest and unlike some others this unit had batteries built in. This will save you $5. Had to send back due to winch issues, not the dispatcher's fault. Simple return minimum. If you liked the review, then click here.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Minor problems

It's not great: winch accessories

I'm good at these things, but it wasn't easy for the average person. I'm not very happy with the relay being slow and "buzzing", but once I hooked it up properly with no instructions to point it out, it still works. There's no stress test, but that shouldn't matter as it's just a control. My Warn had to be connected to a brown ground circuit for it to work. I'm sure others are similar, but if you don't know how it works, don't touch it.

Pros
  • good thing
