Features Cat Straps

I had these straps on my old TV and got a new TV so I needed new straps. The old straps are still on the old TV, so whoever has them can screw them on and you're done. The end that attaches to the TVs has very strong adhesive and is about 4 inches long. I live in Los Angeles and have a cat who loves to go nuts in front of the TV. I have a friend whose cat knocked over 2 TVs and broke the screens. Earthquake, pet, child and adult.

Savior! (Literally)

We have been using Quakehold straps for 4 years and find them mainly to prevent furniture from tipping over on our children. like 4 years ago. They also go well with furniture and prevent tipping over in any earthquake. My 3 year old son climbed onto his dresser and I heard him fall forward about an inch and then fall back and hit the wall. The straps saved him from potentially serious injury and I'll be eternally grateful we put them on. Neither the chest of drawers nor the wall were damaged.

The best granny straps in furniture fittings

The new bookcase is tall and narrow, the books are very heavy and the shy granny cat had visions of laid babies. After looking and looking at very ugly, poorly designed roll-over protection belts or wall anchor belts, I happened upon them. So there are no earthquakes here, but a few thousand is about the same. They were cheaper and way better. I *love* these things. I installed them in about 10 minutes using an electric drill, a magnetic rod locator and a stepladder and inserted long screws…

Good product but too short

Easy to apply and seems durable (my seniors needed pliers to pull the industrial Velcro off). But remember that even though the strap is 15 inches long, the Velcro takes up 6 of those inches and the grommets (where a lag screw can be attached) are only 3 and 6 inches from the Velcro. So if you estimate you have 1 inch or more of slack between the lag screw and the velcro, that means you need to secure that 2-5 inches from the edge you are stabilizing. In my case, I stabilized a 54" wide china…

7 of them installed; satisfied with the installation; Suggestions

As a Pacific Northwester, I'm trying to prepare for the big hit. I used it to attach several bookshelves to the wall. Enough guidance. All parts are included (if you don't have metal rivets), including some alcohol wipes to clean the surfaces before attaching the velcro. Personally, I have not used velcro, preferring to drill small holes in the tops of bookshelves. Suggestion: Do not try to drive screws into the wall with a screwdriver or drill. I've tried both and all I did was remove the…

So I attached this to my two piece wardrobe in my bedroom. I opened the product and found that it is complex and does NOT want to "straighten out". together, which is part of the problem. I tried separating the hook and loop which was difficult. After separating, I tried to iron out the wrinkles with a hair dryer. I have little success with that. He rubbed with alcohol to remove dirt, furniture polish, furniture oil. I also used extra rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth to ensure the cabinet
