Great Transponder Key Tag Replacement!

Perfect fit for my son's 2008 MX-5

Bought my son an MX-5 and we were given a keyless start fob but only one had an emergency key and didn't fit tightly in a keychain. So I bought her. There were two keys. The only complaint came from the locksmith who cut them up as he said they were full of steel. It didn't add time to trim them though, and the one we tested works great and fits snugly on the keychain (so don't worry about them falling out).

Works in my trunk, doors and glove box on my RX-8, not the ignition. He doesn't have a chip.

I have a 2006 Mazda RX-8 with keyless ignition. A few years ago the sensors that recognized the key fob stopped working to unlock the car and about two years later the sensors in the car stopped recognizing the key fob. Consequently, I'm forced to use the real key to start the car and use the buttons on the key fob to open the doors remotely. About two years ago I lost the key in one of my two factory keys and I couldn't find it. Now I only have one key to start the car. I bought this set just…
