🔒 Enhanced Stability: Quick Connect Ladder Leveler Kit - Base Units for Ultimate Safety Review

I have 28ft and 16ft Warner ladders and switch between Levelok as needed. Works great and feels secure on uneven surfaces. Would like a few more inches of adjustment in the tims but most of the time they work without shims.

I would give this product five stars but if they recommend using a very thin foam tape to put it under the unit on top of the main unit to keep it from moving and it makes more stable, something is wrong with this solution. I don't expect the tape to last more than a couple of times before needing replacement.

Mounts on a 13 foot Gorilla MPX Multi ladder which has a much thinner outer wall material than my Little Giant 1AA Super Duty. Using the shortest bolts up near the flare proved too long. The new assembly will not slide past the bottom rung of the existing ladder. Cut 3/16" off in a vise and use a 5/16" coarse die to clean it up. Problem solved. The outer bottom of this ladder doesn't need a washer (it's flat - doesn't wobble).

I bought the complete Quick Connect system 2 years ago. This is the safest and easiest method I've seen. This is of course better than putting putty under the stair leg to level it. However, I have two leaders and often have to quickly switch between them. It wasn't easy to switch base units without delay and too much work. Purchasing a second set of base units solves this problem and allows me to switch Quick Connect between stairs in minutes and saves me from buying two complete sets. .

Levelers are easy to install and use. I already installed the kit that came with the real level so I watched YouTube videos and took notes on the measurements so the installation went very smoothly. I strongly recommend watching the video before starting the installation. As with the original hit, installation requires the use of superglue (included) for standoffs to account for where the brackets cover where the steps pass through the sides of the stair.
