A liner in running shorts needs to be comfortable and smooth- lots of motion happening and the liner’s job is to smoothly support in a high activity & sweaty situation. These shorts fit perfectly and have excellent movement. I like everything about them except for two things. One is that the pockets are made of solid material rather than breathable mesh. So body heat is trapped inside the shorts rather than being able to escape more easily through mesh and out of the pocket holes (a feature that is present in my under armor running shorts, but the UA shorts are twice the price). What I like about the shorts are: (1) the cut, (2) the fit, (3) the deep, usable pockets, and (4) the zipper in back. What I do NOT like is the Cheap fabric that pills worse than any short that I've ever owned. I have Reebock shorts that I have worn for going on 30 years and look like they did the day I bought them. These shorts began pilling on the legs almost immediately, to the point where I am considering throwing them away. And I don't throw things away. An, almost, total disappointment.

I like these shorts. I wear them hiking in the desert. They are really light weight and dry very fast. Also like the fact that they don't come down to the knee like most other shorts. I have 2 pair of these and would recommend them to anyone who needs a quick dry workout short.

Shorts fit great and and are very comfortable. Sadly, after wearing them a few times the zipper on the zipper pocket broke. Frustrating because I use this for my ID and Credit Card.

Just got them today, they fit perfect on a female in the large size. I'm 5'7" about 160 and larger hips but I like slightly longer shorts than females have. They are so soft, fit perfect, and light weight. I haven't worked out in them, but I feel they will be perfect for that. They are thin so probably not the best for everyday wear in the yard, but maybe? Excellent shorts, I will be buying more! Got large in the black and navy!

I have had a ankle surgery closely followed by a knee surgery so I haven't really used these much as a pair of running shorts, but they are my favorite pair for just lounging around the house.
