These valves seem like a good replacement for the originals from Eheim if you can get them at a great price. The contact discs seem barely thick enough to keep the contact closed in many cases, but should be fine for low pressure systems.

Ordered 2. Both failed catastrophically during the water change last night, falling completely apart and flooding the entire floor with water. I can't even imagine how bad it would have been if this had happened while I wasn't home. Real eheim twin faucets are insanely expensive, but nowhere near as expensive as replacing my floor. Never. Absolute garbage product. Weak. Do not take any risks.

I made the mistake of accidentally turning on the pump when the art on my original was closed and it started leaking. The Eheim part is ridiculously expensive, about a third of the price of the entire unit. This one is lighter and not safe in the long run, but it works and is a lot cheaper. Update 4/12/21: Broke after 16 months of use. There are small/thin plastic tabs that hold the locking mechanism together. Just buy it from home, it lasted 5 years and is better processed. I bought it anyway…
