Description of πŸ”§ QuikWood 471050-24 Epoxy Putty Stick

Will not shrink or pull away. Cured hardness and density are similar to that of wood. Putty-like consistency eliminates drips and runs for a "no mess" application. No tools required for use. One hour after application can be drilled, sawed, sanded, filed, tapped, machined and painted.

Very good product: Adhesives and sealants

As a wood carver, it works great. The only problem is that when you need a very small amount, it's difficult to cut off just a little bit. It dries well, is easy to sand and easy to paint.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Nothing

Home repair essential

When they started making this thing I threw away my can of Durham and have never looked back. I used to have all the colors just in case, but now I just keep the normal ones. However, you must keep it closed or it will cake up.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons

Excellent product for wood spatula

This product is great and does what it says on the tin. It's very easy to work with and doesn't set instantly so I don't feel like I'm running out of time as soon as I take it out of the box. I highly recommend.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • The list will be long.

GOURD CRAFTING on Adhesives and Sealants

I use Quick Wood in my craft projects. In this case, all the flowers in the pumpkin basket are made from Quick Wood. The product is always predictable. I've got an hour to work on this before it gets hard. I look forward to finding other ways to use it in my art.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

Works Great - Hardware

Ideal for filling nail holes and wood imperfections. Cut off as much as needed, mix thoroughly and spread with a spatula. It becomes unusable after a few minutes and dries enough to be sanded off after a few hours. I like that it doesn't dry out in the tube and has a fairly long shelf life.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Repair

Strong epoxy, good for hardware

Easy to use, just knead by hand. The smell is a little strong, but it heals very quickly. My only complaint is that it runs under 5 minutes. I didn't check my watch when using it, but I would say 3 minutes is the upper limit of working time. Shortly thereafter I was able to cut and pierce the material, so there are no major complaints.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Can't remember

Fast Wood is an amazing product

I use this product on wooden frames and gourds when I add them to crafts. It sticks fast. It dries so fast. I use this in a lot of my crafts. I even made a leg out of it for a rabbit that had lost a leg cast. Painted it and couldn't tell it was ever gone. On top of the pumpkin I can make flowers, arms and legs, add legs to the pumpkin. Snow gourd hands and buttons, make the nose of the corn on the cob. There are so many valuable uses.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Functionality

love this product! best in hardware

I am a professional furniture painter and need to restore and repair most of my items before they can be painted. I have tried several other products that claim to behave like wood. This is not the case, and they are also prone to cracking and shrinking. Quickwood does an excellent job and I've even used it to fix broken leg pieces on some of the Jacobean pieces I've been working on. Dries fast, dries hard. It's a little difficult to work with until you can smell it and it smells a little but I

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • Quality
