🛏️ Wool Batting Queen Size by Quilters Dream - 108'' x 93'' Review

I am a professional long sleeve quilter and I use this cotton batting over Hobbs 80/20 batting in all of my award winning show quilts and in all of my clients' quilts. Washes great with a great bulk, is lightweight and can easily be used in heirloom quilts. Hands down, I'm going to the wool punch!

Made a sample blanket, ran it through the washer and dryer for a beard. No problem with that, so I made a simple quilt. After everything was ready I ran it through the washer and dryer and no problem. Just your typical pile and fluff. I used cotton quilting thread with a Schmetz quilting needle. The last photo is after washing and drying.

Rating 1 for misleading advertising. It's not 100% wool, just 40% wool and 60% polyester. The internet says nothing about how much wool is in it, but the packaging says it's a wool-polyester blend. We called the company and they said the amount of wool was inconsistent but could be up to 40%. Ours looked like all polyester. We chose this brand specifically because we didn't want chemicals and it was thermally bonded rather than chemically. Little did we know it was more than half plastic…
