Fits my 2006 Honda Odessey

I took my 2006 Honda Odessey van to Express Oil and was quoted $460 to replace and repair the power steering pressure hose that was leaking in my van. I didn't have it so I decided to look for ways to save money and luckily saw this part. I've seen reviews and some have mentioned that they don't fit in their van. I did NOT repair the van myself. As soon as I received the part I took my van and the part back and it was repaired at a fraction of the cost. It's been in my van for about three weeks

Economical replacement for the original hose

I chose this option because of the significant cost savings and fast shipping. The connections are in a hard-to-reach place when the vehicle is assembled. It was great and replaced a leaking hose. The only downside was that it differs only slightly from the OEM. My 2007 Honda Odyssey had two mounting points under the car while I only had one. I cut one off the original hose but it didn't quite match the attachment point. Highly recommend if you want to replace a leaking hose cheaply but found…

Not for 2005 Honda Odyssey

Looks and feels like a quality part but the curves are different than the OEM so the hard steel tubing does not match the receiver on the power steering box. Also, this hose has only one attachment sleeve while the OEM has 2 attachment points. I couldn't even come close to working on it without modifying it, what I imagine would be setting it on fire and trying to bend it again so it ends up at the right angle. I bought it a few months ago and I'm in the process of installing it so my return…

Get the right tools and DIY!

I saved about $350 installing it myself on a 2007 Odyssey. Almost freaked out comparing the new to the old. The shape and rubber bushings didn't quite match the originals I took off, so I heard the "original Honda" argument in my head. But no worry. This is a replacement AND an improvement. Hose elbows for new hose eliminate the need for an additional socket. I would recommend watching some YouTube videos of the process. My experience: I had to cut open the old hose next to the PS pump with a…

Works in Odessa 2005!

As mentioned this hose is not the same shape as the OEM but it works. It looks high quality and most likely doesn't look like the cheap ones from China. The hardest part was getting the plug under the car where you need a goose foot. It didn't work for me, so I ended up sawing off the metal pipe and using a socket. The new cable has only one (instead of two) grommet connection. The one provided is next to the aforementioned complex junction where one of the old hoses used to be. But it…
