Not for BMW mirrors '11

Well made item with very good contacts and shrink tubing. However, the cables are not long enough to permanently contact the corresponding points in the mirror connectors on my 2011 BMW 135i. I was able to make good contact initially, but when I put everything back together they lost contact.

Great product for installing a speed camera detector

Was very easy to install. I had to google to easily find the correct cables to connect. This, along with the transom mount, makes my Escort Radar Detector custom mounted, with no unsightly wires and in a location that doesn't obstruct the view yet is easy to see when needed.

Clean installation in BMW

Used YouTube and a voltmeter to confirm positives and negatives on a BMW 5 Series. Connected to the top connection from the car to the mirror. Very easy. The mirror does not need to be removed. Green-yellow positive, brown negative in 2007. I give 4 out of 5 stars because of the length. 2-3 cm would be better. OK, stop giggling.

I've bought this in the past where the plugs were round and plugged in very easily

The plugs are flat and hard to plug into the power supply. I've bought this in the past where the plugs were round and plugged in very easily. I broke 3-4 of these trying to install them in my rearview mirror power supply until I finally stopped wasting money.

The product is well made, with very good contacts and shrink tubing.
