Good value for money

The radios are easy to use and the display is clear. I have yet to test the distance. USB charging is convenient and the battery lasts a day with moderate use. Good price and performance

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Terribly limited range!

Lightweight and compact. First you have to program it to use it properly. Even after getting the right settings, power and range, it could only go 1 mile at best on city park street and trail. The small town area was the worst, not even 2 blocks away! Huge disappointment in range but excellent in battery life.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Will be added later

Appears to be a high quality FRS base radio.

I got these 4 packs to set myself and my group of friends up for radios for camping, mountain biking, skiing, car trips etc. (can charge from the battery!). I've only used them a couple of times but they seem to help! The range/quality of the sound is as expected from the FRS radio. Be sure to check the FCC registers, I set a wide range if I think frs needs a narrow range. Otherwise great and easy-to-use radios at a great price!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Almost never

Very robust with great features!

Excellent quality. Gave it to my 5 year old grandson for his birthday. They camp a lot, so that's when they mostly get used. However, all the kids at the party enjoyed playing with them and they tolerated walking around, changing channels frequently and listening to different radio stations for hours without draining the battery. These radios are very durable, have long battery life and great sound over a fairly long range. Having NOAA stations is very useful when you are camping or just…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

Great little radio

I ordered a set of 4 FS-T1 radios for Christmas so I am currently testing 2 of these to see if they are suitable for hunting. around the farm or future emergencies. So far I'm really impressed not only with its size but also with its functionality. Of course, not all features are required. We live in a very rural area where we don't have many tall buildings or electrical interference like in a city, but we do have many trees, barns and other building structures that can interfere with…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Only available in white
