Connects to the computer's microphone input. It works so-so, the volume is low when recording, even though the recording volume is set to maximum on the computer.

The product just didn't work properly. While it's true that I was able to record both sides of the phone call, that's only true in the broadest sense. My part of the conversation is well recorded. However, the voice of the person I was talking to was barely audible on the recording (recorded with GarageBand on my iMac). I've tried several times, adjusting various settings for the iMac burner and UI, but nothing worked. I have to say that the return process was easy and straightforward.

Works very well if you can find a radio with an external plug. The only downside is that it may not work in multi-phone mode. In my case I need to set it up on one phone and connect multiple cordless phones to it. This is a newer version. The really old one had two settings so you could tweak its performance. I sold them at RS, that was in the 80's. Good luck finding one of them. when you receive it. Either way, it records great and otherwise works flawlessly. If you are facing the same problem

I have had two of these for many years. They work great. No need for external power supply. Just plug one end into a phone jack and then connect your phone to this device. Connect the large plug to your recorder's "microphone" jack and the small plug to your recorder's "remote" jack, if your recorder has one (many of them don't, the purpose of the remote jack is to turn the recorder on and off automatically ).
