It holds an 8 inch tablet perfectly except it's not a solid mount so it needs to be fixed to a window and placed on the dash or it will shake a lot and maybe Clicky, that's why I gave 3 stars.

Bought to replace the mount for my 7 inch GPS, I'm not happy with my choice. It doesn't hold up very well and the adjustable parts don't stay put. Good suction cup, I had to tape it to hold it in place. If you can hold it up on the dash or sit it on some sort of base, that's great. But when used in a hanging application above you, it will bounce and not stay in place.
