Quality Made in USA Schock

As described, well made product. Made in the USA, well packaged and arrived on time. Installation was quick, the shock arrived with all the screws and the red boot.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • So far so good

Really disappointed!

Really disappointed! Their quality has dropped as has their customer service. This stock didn't withstand any terrain, it didn't even withstand road traffic, as I didn't even have a chance to make sure it would withstand before braking. After a few emails to Rancho/Tenneco I realized they would NOT endorse their product and I quickly bought replacement Gabriel shocks (they have already lasted 3 times as long and the ride is the same for almost half of the year). price).

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Exactly as described. in Spare Parts

Rancho products are almost always of high quality and this is no different. I didn't change my engine mounts fast enough so my front shock absorbers were abused. I replaced the engine mounts and then added these shocks to my front end and WOW what a difference. With the supplied dampers, they even look good on top of that. Easy to install although there were no instructions in the box but they are just shocking - they were so easy to install. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Practical
Cons
  • For Old

Inexpensive off-road and highway damper.

The best brand of off-road and highway shocks fitted to my XJ makes it feel much better, doesn't feel like fish in water over bumps and handles very well in mud and snow. If you don't drive your car in the mud, this shock absorber is not for you. Stick with Bilstein when towing or diving a sports car or driving a truck to drive a truck instead of using it as a truck. For those wondering this comes as a shock so please upgrade to Quality 2 when ordering.

Not worth the money.

This is a rear shock absorber and the shock itself has done 20,000 miles and I have replaced it with good quality Bilsteins. This Jeep has never been used off-road and all Rancho shocks failed prematurely. Not a very good shock for jeeps. Don't waste money. I made a mistake with this brand. My original rating was 4 stars which was premature and my mistake. Spend a little more and buy good quality shock absorbers from Bilstein or Fox. The steering stabilizer was lousy too. I replaced it with Old

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Almost everything is there
