Good value for money

Worked great in my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. I'm a little stiffer than I expected but hey, probably because it's a 3/4 ton. Good value for money!

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Everything is great

I think you get what you pay for

This product looked good out of the box but the socket was missing and it was two months old and already worn out. I'll have to go back and buy a regular Monro that will probably last me for years

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Empty

Excursion bikes from 2003 almost like new

This steering stabilizer works great. I installed this on my 2003 Ford Excursion with 230k. I had to remove the dremel from the factory disc to fit in the Ford OEM mount slot. I had to put thick double sided tape on the end of the hub because the tube is larger than the Ford OEM and will touch the bracket. Aside from those two issues, the installation was easy and the truck drives like new!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not bad

2008 Dodge Ram 3500 Steering Stabilizer Replacement

Replaced the steering damper with a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4. The rod on the truck bent when I lost the ball joint on the front right tie rod and the rod got stuck in the wheel. in any case - simple assembly/fastening. In the package was a conical wedge screw as in the picture (attached to the handlebar). I had to use an old stabilizer nut holding it to the frame. Photos will be added, one of them will be assembled and the other will be the instructions attached. Again, mine came with the right…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • will be added later

Caused my death wobbles

I broke my original and bought this one. The installation went well. But now I have deadly wobble (mostly a big hard shake all over the truck) at highway speeds. After much deliberation, I've found that the OEM shock (and some other Fox and Bilstein adjustable shocks) are MUCH better quality than those cheap ranches. If your truck has standard suspension, tires, etc., this damper will likely fit. If you even have an alignment kit like me, spend the extra $50 and buy OEM (Mopar part number…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • poorly thought out
