Easy install and great ride

Easy install and great ride. This is a classic 2007 Duramax Silverado 2500HD with no hub. I don't know how long they will last, but so far I'm very happy with them.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Fantastic shock absorbers, the perfect gift

You will definitely get your money's worth when you buy these shock absorbers. You can't go wrong with Rancho products. Easy to install and the perfect gift for my lady's truck for me now

Big shocks! for shock absorbers, struts and suspension

This is a great shock kit. My wife immediately noticed and commented that my 17 year old truck drives like new. My truck had KYB Monomax gas shocks that were there when I bought the truck. They didn't look too old, but the bushing on the lower shock mount was completely missing. Highly recommend these dampers

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Quality product - shock absorber

Rancho shock absorber is a product. The only downside for me was mounting the fronts as they take up more space than the OEM or other shocks and with minimal clearance on my 07 Silverado HD was a real challenge. I had to cut off the tip of the screw to insert it. I could have unscrewed the slide but it took a bit more work and that worked.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • exchange possible

Worth the price: Replacement parts

Definitely an improvement over my old dampers. The shocks look like they have been rebuilt as they are painted white over the bushings and it doesn't really look like the manufacturer did that. But they do their job, the ride is great and after three weeks they have no complaints, I guess I just have to see how long they thought. All in all, for the price, they're worth buying.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Concerns me
