quality and functionality. Works as advertised.

Disables Active Fuel Management (AFM) on GMC Sierra z71 2018 slt 5.3 ecotec l83. Works as advertised and prevents the annoying cylinder from shutting off. Fuel consumption has increased, but not critically. There are also plans to use a trap to avoid pooling in the water inlet, which is also an issue in this series.

It works out. V4 mode is gone.

Mileage decreased by approximately 1.5 mpg. Disappeared "clang" when shifting to a lower gear. This is the second device I have ordered. The 1st device arrived without a manual. The same goes for this block. I connected it. If I ordered another one, I would buy directly from the manufacturer.

  • Minor repairability

It works as advertised!

My 157,000 mile 2011 Silverado has recently had the Service Selectrak and Service Traction Control warnings and a blinking check engine light. Last Friday night he started stagnating and stuttering. I googled the problem and found AFM Disabler. I ordered it and it arrived today. I literally just plugged it into the OBD2 socket and started the truck and the problems are gone! I rode 20 miles and it was smoother than it's been in a long time! I recommend GM truck owners to try this before making…

Less kilometers but better car. 2015 Suburban LT

Worth it! I get nothing for this review. Yes, the mileage is reduced, but you save so much elsewhere that you no longer burn oil. The movement is smoother and the car feels responsive. The biggest improvement was the gearbox: It's gotten cooler and doesn't think any further. In addition, 4x4 makes less noise. Overall the car feels safer. Use after the dealer warranty has expired! Use may void coverage. Don't leave it plugged in if not in use for several days, it's not needed for long-distance…

Cons
  • Shorter cable than other variants

Works as advertised

First of all this blocker works and prevents the ecu from going down from eight to four cylinders. I just received it yesterday and couldn't properly measure the mpg difference. This stopped the rough downshifting and shaking. I am very happy with the product, just not with the price. You would think that for almost $200 you can choose from different modes. You know, sport mode, city, highway, etc. If you're complaining about the packaging and the operating instructions... please shut up. You…
